It was designed by Pat Lawlor who made other great games like Addams Family and Twilight Zone

Added Attraction to Blow Away the Competition
It gives you the total whirlwind experience with a wind-maker atop the machine.
This pinball is one of the first to be able to recognize an all-time highest scorer!
Whirlwind also has the awesome million plus feature, where the three ball multiball reward will continuously grow to 2 million and 3 million as it goes!
It has 3 spinning disks that make the ball go crazy. It is Pat Lawlor’s 2nd in his disaster themed pinball machines.
