Mat Mania
Here is a Mat Mania arcade game for sale. This is a very early wrestling game made by Technos, and was licensed to Memetron. This was a very popular game in it’s time. It did not come in it’s own dedicated cabinet. The one you will be getting is in a generic arcade cabinet with the Mat Mania marquee. There was a 2 player game made as a sequel called Mania Challenge, which we have also.
The following is from the Arcade Museum:

Description
A one-on-one wrestling game from Taito. The player competes against other wrestlers around the world in a tournament. Use special moves such as bouncing off the ropes, jumping off the turnbuckle, and even wrestle outside of the ring.
Game Play
Players win a match by pinning an opponent for a three count or by keeping the opponent outside of the ring for twenty counts. Players can lose a match by standing on the top rope for five counts. The match will be declared a draw if neither the player nor opponent are pinned or counted out when the time limit expires or if both are counted out of the ring.
The game has five opposing wrestlers who you must fight in order: Insane Warrior, Karate Fighter, Cocoa Savage, The Pirania and Golden Hulk.
Golden Hulk is the champion and if you beat him in the title match, you will become the champion. After that, the game begins again.
Cheats, Tricks, Bugs, and Easter Eggs
Throwing your opponent into the ropes and simply letting him run into you will allow you to pick him up off the mat and perform any move successfully. Repeat until the opponent has been beaten.
Another Pattern that will give you a much higher score per match is by letting your opponent punch you once then dodge his attack by moving the player either up or down the ring and counter attack with two punches and dodge the opponent’s attack. Repeat until the opponent becomes dizzy. Now is the time to take advantage and execute any two wrestling moves consecutively that require power such as body slam, brainbuster, piledriver or Irish whip. Note If you attempt a third consecutive move without repeating the pattern it will be unsucessful.
Cocoa Savage is a bit tricky. The Dodge and Punch pattern will not be very effective with him since he will counter attack with a shoulder block. The best way to attack Cocoa Savage is to let him come close to the player and give him a taste of his own medicine with a running shoulder block. Wait for him to partially get up on one knee and then Shoulder Block him again. Repeat pattern until he is beaten. If you would like, before lowering the Boom on Cocoa Savage get him close to the turnbuckle and perform the last Shoulder Block followed by either two Brainbusters or Piledrivers and finally either two knee drops or somersaults off the top turn buckle, then go for the pin.
