F-15 Strike Eagle
*pictures are of the actual game for sale*
The arcade-exclusive installment of the Microprose air combat simulation series is called F-15 Strike Eagle. It is based on the F-15 Strike Eagle II home computer version, which utilizes hardware that is more advanced than what was typically accessible at the time.
The user controls the namesake US multi-role strike fighter F-15E in a variety of missions in the Persian Gulf, striking numerous enemy objectives such as oil rigs and armament factories. The aircraft is available in both a stand-up and a sit-down position. There are three difficulty levels available at launch, ranging from novice to Ace. There are six different scenarios, some of which must be unlocked. Flying uses up fuel, which is a unit of time per credit. By earning more credits or completing goals, it can be replenished.

Description
F-15 Strike Eagle is a Flight combat simulator based on the computer game series.
Gameplay
The player chooses either Libya (similar to Operation El Dorado Canyon), the Persian Gulf, or Vietnam as their mission theater at the start of the game. The action then starts in the cockpit of an F-15 that has already taken off and is armed with several different missiles, bombs, drop tanks, flares, and chaff. In air-to-air combat with opposing fighters, the player pilots the plane in order to bomb numerous objectives, including a primary and secondary target.
The player returns to base, their jet crashes or is destroyed, or the game is over.
